'Extreme Makeover' house escapes foreclosure
According to a report, a foreclosure notice on the home appeared July 18, indicating that a $450,000 second mortgage the owners took out less than 15 months ago was in default. They worked out a deal with the bank the first time but defaulted again. The house was to be auctioned March 3, but the sale didn't happen. Johnny Crawford / jcrawford@ajc.com
