Spirit of the islands comes to Cobb
You might be surprised to find this home, awash in the happy colors of the islands, in a subdivision in East Cobb. But consider its owners, Echo and Kevin Garrett, a writer and photographer duo who have produced guidebooks on the Caribbean and have recreated its spirit here. The hallway photos of lifeguard stands on Miami Beach illustrate another staple of the home's design: Kevin's art. "I wanted to create a house that was a real backdrop for his work," Echo says.
