The back porch was painted the weather-beaten blue often found in the Caribbean. The faraway outdoor look was achieved with an organic garden and artistic decor. There are gazing balls, folk art and lots of blue, including a cobalt ceramic fountain and teal glass conductors that once topped telephone poles -- Kevin's grandfather was a senior executive with Southern Bell.
