The feel of the Adirondacks in Vinings
The front porch with a view of the lake takes Watson back to the Adirondacks. Hewn logs were used for the outdoor railings and posts to achieve the lodge look. Craftsman Buzz Stone used poplar bark on the porch walls and black locust and mountain laurel for the railings. The bark is only used on the covered porch because it curls in heat and humidity.
