Fine Redesign: LUBE of Atlanta
PROJECT GOAL: Lynda Burgess, a designer with the Atlanta branch of kitchen retailer Cucine LUBE, created this kitchen in the Mayfair Renaissance condo she shares with her fiance. The couple likes to stay in and cook, so her goal was to increase the style and functionality. "Now we seldom eat out," she said. BIGGEST SPLURGE: Appliances, which include a Wolf oven, warming drawer and microwave, as well as a Sub-Zero refrigerator and wine cooler. Retail cost -- about $20,000, she said.
