Buckhead estate maintains its historic bloom

The foyer, with handpainted silk wallcoverings, leads into a larger space with original black-and-white linoleum tile, once considered chic flooring until marble tiles came into vogue, Halpern said. The yellow walls and faux marble columns are also original to the space. The roughly 6,000-square-foot home has one set of dramatically curved stairs leading to the upper level.
