The main entrance to the home is reminiscent of an art gallery. Here, French showcases his own work, though he doesn't claim to be an artist. In fact, he only painted these two dozen canvasses after hanging them in his home for two years. "I was the butt of a many jokes, i.e. 'polar bear in an ice storm,'" he recalled.
