Midwesterners' unpretentious life in Alpharetta
ELISSA EUBANKS / eeubanks@ajc.com
John and Jean Kreikemeier built their Alpharetta home on 3 acres in a Crabapple neighborhood with 36 lots and a Pete Dye golf course. Their lot overlooks the signature 17th hole. John owns his construction manufacturing company, JDR Enterprises Inc., and because of his experience, Jean says it was a natural fit for him to serve as contractor. "We wanted this home to be warm and inviting," Jean said of their self-proclaimed unpretentious life. "We're not built that way."
