St. Simons retreat relishes sea breezes

Evening light pours past the plantation shutters through the arched doorway and shimmers off the antique heart pine floors of the upstairs hallway. A patio just beyond the doors looks out through the live oaks toward the sound, where birds swoop and passing boats sound their horns in greeting.
