St. Simons retreat relishes sea breezes

The main house contains almost 5,000 square feet of space, including three bedrooms, three baths and guest quarters in the carriage house with a bedroom and bath. The gracious Southern four-over-four construction made it a natural locale for entertaining family and friends. Harry Aiken of St. Simons recalls days in the 1950s spent playing with cousins on the beach and ball games in the yard under the lives oaks in the evenings.
