St. Simons retreat relishes sea breezes
Story: Julie Hairston, Photos: Elissa Eubanks / eeubanks@ajc.com
This sunroom was originally a screened porch. Now enclosed in windows on three sides, the room provides a casual, luminous retreat. Atop the sunroom, a tabby-lined patio provides the upstairs guest suite with a private outdoor vantage point for sunsets and seascapes. Tabby is a vintage coastal building material made of cement mixed with crushed seashells.
