Mineral Bluff home like a giant playground

About ten years ago, the Atwell family bought 110 acres where they could drive four-wheelers, fish, shoot guns and play around outside. After adding five more acres to their holdings and building a two-and-a-half acre lake on the property, they decided it was time to give up the camper and build a house. They put it next to the lake so its decks and patio would overlook the water. There's also mountain, pasture and field views. Christopher Oquendo / AJC Special
