Mountain haven in Morganton
Tom Kuhn's cabin in Morganton, near Blue Ridge, has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, about 2,000 square feet of liveable space and is situated on nearly an acre. It was built in 2003 and has a metal roof and a rock fireplace. "We were looking for something that either had a view of the mountains or sat along the water," said Kuhn, who purchased it in November 2008.
